Professional photographers HAVE to educate consumers because there are dozens of other "photographers" on the same block that don't have a clue what the hell they're doing. But since they bought a DSLR, can point and shoot, and get "amazing" shots and sell them all on a disc for $150, potential client Joe Schmoe has NO IDEA why pros charge hundreds/thousands for digital files. Photography is a market where consumers shop around and have a dizzying array of options. They need to know what they're paying!
