Smile Baby Contest winners have been revealed!
This has been one of the most difficult judgment calls we at babyphotographers.com have had to make. We’d like to thank all of our entrants for sharing their adorable, interesting and sometimes crazy entries. But after tons of hand wringing and endless debate, we managed to narrow down all of our contestants to three, very exceptional finalists.
The third place winner of a $500 gift certificate towards the photographer of their choice is Michelle Stice. The second place winner of a $1000 photographer’s gift certificate is Aleksandra Nearing. And finally, the first place winner and recipient of our grand prize of a $2000 photographer’s gift certificate is Tiffany Lyn.

Babies with Cameras – The New Abstract Art?
Babyphotographers.com knows that taking pictures of your children is a huge part of your life, but what happens when you are on the other side of the lens? Brands like Fisher Price have developed digital cameras made especially for small children, creating a great opportunity for tots to learn the basics while feeling like a grown-up (like Mommy!) Additionally, photographers often hand off their older model cameras to their kids after upgrading to a newer model. Hand your toddler a camera and you will soon have hundreds of fun, random pictures taken totally by chance – some might say “abstract works.”
Check out this clever article posted recently on Mamapedia.com. Entitled, A Study in Self-Portraiture, the post examines how you can tie those great photos your child snaps into your blog or a collage…maybe even create personalized wall art out of them. We think it’s a rather inspired idea.

We are thrilled that the Mommy Blogger community is recently abuzz about babyphotographers.com. There have been numerous articles written over the past two weeks giving readers a snapshot of our website.
